I started Spring Counseling in order to contribute to the overall well-being of Haywood County and the surrounding areas. I am committed to helping individuals and couples live healthier, more meaningful lives through the use of interventions like Jungian oriented psychotherapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples. I enjoy working with a broad range of people from all walks of life, and I have spent much of my life advocating for people who find themselves misunderstood, abused or oppressed.
I grew up in Southwestern Virginia and have lived in Western North Carolina for most of the last 16 years. I have worked with non-profits, homeless shelters, churches, private practices and universities. In each of these settings I have learned more about the wisdom and richness of human diversity.
In my personal time I enjoy being a husband and a father of three. I love being outdoors, writing and reading when time is available.
